Almost any test can be challenging. Even those who learn fast and who get high scores in their exams will admit that only through perseverance studying hard were they able to achieve a good exam result. The same is true when taking SAT PREP test. You have to prepare really hard and learn the rules inherent in the exam~Study the rules of the exam by heart and dilligently prepare~Dilligently study for the exam and try to learn the rules}.

As with any exams, the SAT PREP test has its standardized set of rules that you have to understand in order to achieve a good score. This article will provide you tips to guarantee a high SAT score.

Write in the test booklet

Use your booklet to your advantage when taking the SAT PREP exam. Anyway, nobody is going to read whatever you write on it. If you want, you can write math formula, equations in the test booklet or use the extra space for complex problems. You can also use it when drafting an outline, paraphrasing or underlining a keyword to better understand what you have read.

Transfer answers at the end of each section

Going back and forth between the scantron and the test booklet can take too much of your time during the exam. Time is really crucial so do not waste it. It is better to transfer your answer at the end of each section. You can be more systematic by writing your answers in the test booklet first before transferring them at the end of every section or page. You will have more time to answer the test and eliminate the possibility of mistakes.

Don’t rush

Haste makes waste, so cool down and think. Rushing to answer all the problems can build up pressure and may make you prone to mistakes. Calm down and try answering only question you are sure of and not to guess when you are not. In SAT PREP text, a blank answer will result to zero point. but a wrong answer will automatically deduct 1/4 point. You will score low if you answer all the questions but only get 50% of them correct, than by leaving difficult answers and answering 75% of the questions correctly.

Choose your question and answer

Be careful which questions you answer first. Take this advice except for the Critical Reading section where the questions are organized from least difficult to the hardest. But it does not mean the easy questions will be the easiest to answer.
