How To Be a Top Quality Student

Are you a very good student? What characteristics are needed to be a good student? I am sure that we have all come across people who have rather annoyed us during our academic life, people who were disruptive, loud, rude and basically annoying. These people are what I classify as bad students and should have been kicked out the lessons until they learned how to behave. What about a good student; is it all about their ability to learn or do they need to possess other qualities?

Before I continue I have to admit that I am no longer a student. I am now a fully fledged worker; working in the fields of stuttering therapy and DVD replication; I also work on a project which enables people to learn how to play the guitar.

These are the types of people that I believe make a good student:

1. Co-operative. A top student will co-operate with the lecturer and will be more than happy to help their fellow students to improve. They will be described as being a pleasure to have in the class.

2. Hard working. A good student will be hard working, they will try to get the most of each lesson that they attend.

3. Positive. A top student will have a positive attitude and will convey this to the other students.

4. Attentive. A good student will listen to what the lecturer and his fellow class mates are saying, rather than talking at the same time, which is the majority of students seem to do these days.

5. Fun. A top student will brighten up the class as they will be fully aware when it is the right time to have a little bit of fun. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

The above are just a few examples of what I believe are the characteristics of a good student. So I will ask the questions again, would you consider yourself to be a top student?
